The freewheeling Ted West sends up this travelogue of life on the Cali coast. From the Eagles to Led Zeppelin to U2 the state has been glorified in song. West's version has the ring of a native who lives what he sings. His smooth, light rocking vocals are backed by some sweet sounding acoustic and electric guitars that convey the image of sunshine on the Pacific. The chorus has a hook that will make you sing with the top down.
